Almost 7 weeks: We count pregnancy from the first day of the last period, even though we now know that conception occurs about 2 weeks after the first day of your period (in a normal 28 day cycle) that was not known when we decided how to count pregnancy weeks. You are therefore almost 7 weeks pregnant. This is the perfect time to see your OB for a confirmation of pregnancy visit or first prenatal visit.
