A member asked:

Is ureteroscopy safe for 3mm kidney stone in lower pole for me? how much chances are there of complications? how soon will i be able to sail?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Renal stone: I am unsure why you would need a ureteroscopy for a non-obstructing lower pole stone? A 3 mm stone in the lower pole of the kidney, would need an eswl treatment at best. I would consider another opinion.
