Whoa!: Sak yant tattoos will enter the skin deep enough to penetrate the epidermis, and if the needle is infected, it can transmit hepatitis b, hepatitis c, or hiv. In the usa, this is closely regulated and customers demand it, but overseas, i can't tell you. You need to be very certain about needle sterilization procedures, and if you have any doubt, don't do it.
