No relation: Your age has no impact on factor v leiden. That being said, you should meet with your OB before you get pregnant. He may want to start you on lovenox, (enoxaparin) or at least an Aspirin daily to reduce the risk of miscarriage. Generally, you will need to be on a blood thinner such as Lovenox (enoxaparin) throughout your pregnancy. Best of luck!

No: Age has nothing to do with factor v leiden. You can try again, but be aware that if you do carry the bad gene you are definitely more prone to developing clots at the time of pregnancy as it naturally increases the chance of clot development even in women without factor v leiden genes.
