Probably......: If you are young....More than likely just a tic or spasm in your sternomastoid muscle just behind or over the carotid. Have some one look at your neck and make sure it is not "pulsating". If it is not, then probably nothing to worry about.

Neck twitch: A twitch near the carotid artery in the neck could be pulsation, muscle spasm, an aneurysm or a mass. You should see your doctor for examination or treatment.
