Different: A pregnancy test and an ovulation predictor test have some similarities, but are quite different. The ovulation predictor test will detect the hormone signal triggering an egg to release from the ovary. Several over-the-counter test kits are available: you test your urine once daily during the time of the month you may be ovulating. Your pharmacist can help you choose an appropriate kit.
