My sis-in-law is 32 weeks pregnant and her 75gm oral glucose test values are 78mg/dl(fasting), 168(after 1 hour) & 136(after 2 hour). suggest therapy ?

Normal: The current criteria for diagnosis of gestational diabetes would be fasting glucose >95, 1 hr >180, or 2 hr>153. All of the above results are normal. No restricted diet is indicated. Good luck.

Diabetes: Glucose tolerance diagnostic test (for gestational diabetes) 1 75 g of glucose fasting: less than 95 mg/dl or 5.3 mmol/l 1-hour: less than 180 mg/dl or 10.0 mmol/l 2-hour: less than 153 mg/dl or 8.5 mmol/l your sister's test result is normal. She has no diabetes.
