Take a preg test: Prenatals wont do anything to get birth control out of your system. Sore breasts, cramping and bloating can be signs of an impending menstrual cycle or early pregnancy. Take a pregnancy test.

Yes: If contraception was discontinued and menses are late with other symptoms, a pregnancy test is indicated.
