Family practice : Make sure they do a western blot test. Test also for arthritis. There are several types and tests for this. Were you ever treated. It sounds like you weren't. You are right , years ago it was hard to diagnose but is easier today. There were times i would treat if the symptoms were highly suggestive of lymes. It's difficult to treat later on in the illness.
