Adhesions/blockage: There are several possible causes to your symptoms. Adhesion, a scar reaction that forms spontaneously in response to surgery, can be a cause for subsequent bowel obstruction (about 10%). As a surgeon, i advise my patients that each surgical intervention increases the risk for subsequent episode adhesion/obstruction. However, majority of adhesion are symptoms free.

Not usual: The thyroid may need checked. Anemia? Need full history and good exam and some lab work to discern the issues.
