Can a mri/mra help in diagnosis of mental health disorders?

MRI is sometimes ..: Useful in mental health situations, especially if there is a history of head trauma, or if there is concern for an anatomic/structural cause for the disorder, like a congenital anomaly (a problem that developed before birth) or a tumor. Mra would not necessarily be helpful unless the situation or MRI results pointed to a vascular (blood supply) problem.
