Treatment options: There are a couple options. One, obviously, is surgery, in which bone graft (or a substitute bone graft) and/or internal vs external fixation is placed. Another option is an external bone stimulator - there are several versions of these - which apply an energy field (i.E ultrasound or electromagnetic) to the fracture site which can induce healing. Talk to your doctor about your options.
