Pain: Ulcers in the vagina are most commonly associated with herpes and syphilis. Having said that, if you did have an ulcer, they are most always painful. They often have a pinkish circle of raised tissue and then a yellowish/whitish center, with some discharge or 'weeping' coming from the center. If you have an ulcer, i would get it checked out asap as there are medications you would need to take.
