A member asked:

I've recently received rabies treatment and will soon be working in a kindergarden. should i worry about increased exposure to viruses and influenza?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The rabies treatments do not usually contain any immune suppressive medications, so you are not at any greater risk than anyone else for contracting an illness at work. However, proper hand hygiene and use of hand sanitizer is a must when working closely with 5- year olds! thanks for help caring for and teaching the kids!
