Tetanus: In america you would have gotten your last tetanus shot when you turned 15. These shots last for ten years and you would not be due again until age 25.

Get a TdaP : If you have not had a tdap before, then you should have a booster with tdap. This will also protect you from whooping cough, which is common in some parts of the country and can cause you to cough for months. The tetanus shot is good for 10 years if the cut is clean. But if it is dirty, you should have a booster after 5 years.
