Varicocele?: There are a few possibilities, but being on the left side, the first one that jumps out is a varicocele. It is a dialated blood vessel or group of vessels coming off of the testicle. When the blood vessel or group of vessels get engorged with blood, the testicle/scrotum will feel heavier. Sometimes it might even have a dull ache. Varicoceles are most common on the left side.
