A member asked:

I had mild pain in my right testicle the past couple of days, woke up this morning and my left one hurts and feels like a different shape almost. no sex for a while due to another medical issue. will this resolve on its own or should i go to dr asap?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Aching testicles : This bilateral testicular discomfort may be the result of prolonged abstinence from sex, so called blue balls syndrome as vascular congestion builds up after not being released after a period of no ejaculation, especially if you're sexually aroused. The cure is to ejaculate. If your problem doesn't resolve see your physician or a urologist for evaluation and advice.
