Perinatologist: Make a pre-conception appointment with a maternal fetal specialist. They will look for causes of miscarriage, plan elective cerclage if needed, and any other medical or surgical treatments to try to get your baby to term.

Many reasons: Firstly, make sure you are seeing a specialist in maternal-fetal medicine. You should also have information on your family history--especially, in other family members who have had miscarriages. Blood clot problems--as deep vein thrombosis in leg veins or blood clot issues in the lung--need to be investigated. I wish you and your family good luck! how many times have you been pregnant?
