Probably: It would depend on cause/etiology of narrowing. Surgical intervention can possibly be myotomy (local incision in esophageal muscle), local/ limited segmental resection, or total esophagectomy. There are quite a few variations. Your best bet is to discuss with a thoracic surgeon at an esophageal center.
