Can over excertion make you ill?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Overexertion: It sure can. There are several issues. If you don't exercise regularly, you will experience greater fatigue, shortness of breath, even faintness. You can also pull or sprain muscles. If you overexert in the heat, you can lose salt from your system and get a specific illness called heat exhaustion. To tolerate heavy exertion you need to be eating well and drink plenty of fluids.
