A Shocking Result: I assume you don't mean direct exposure, so i will address high powered electromagnetic field exposures. These types of exposure (by high tension power lines) could possibly pose a health risk, but there is little research to support this. In fact, low dose chronic exposures from cell phones have been under scrutiny lately by the fcc. We just don't know if such exposures contribute to illness.

Electricity: We are electromagnetic beings, and effected by electricity. Some scientists & clinicians acknowledge a hypersensitivity to Electromagnetic Radiation EMR from exposures such as wireless systems and electrical devices at home or workplace; others suggest that electromagnetic hypersensitivity (EHS) is psychosomatic. Data in the US is vague. Some countries have restrictions based on WHO guidelines.

Electrocution : Unless you are electrocuted, there is little evidence of harm from using electricity. Wish you good health.
