How can u tell if your 8month old has a ear infection?

Someone looks: While there are a number of symptoms associated with ear infections - rubbing/pulling at ears, poor sleep, fussiness, fever, etc. - there is really only one way to tell if the baby has an infection. That is to look in the middle ear with an otoscope and see if there is a red, bulging tm and cloudy fluid behind the ear drum. All other ways are just guessing and are not the accurate way of looking.
