A member asked:

I've been on gabapentin at an increasing dosage for 2yrs. at 3200mg/day for nerve pain. stopped cold turkey. would this cause nausea? other affects?

YES!!: Always taper off a medication to avoid withdrawal symptoms. 3200mg is a significant dose and a reduction would have avoided these issues.

Don't!: Gabapentin is an anti-seizure medication and is used for nerve pain. At 3200mg/day, you are at higher dose for gabapentin. You need to be weaned off Gabapentin if desired. If you stop abruptly, you might develop seizure. Please see your doctor before making any change.
