Neck Muscle straines: Successful treat of neck muscles needs to identify the root cause. Misalignment of the spinal vertebrae is easily treated by a chiropracter. A strained muscle from over exertion, probably from lifting, or "sleeping wrong" is best treated by a physical therapist (pt) or a certified massage therapist (cmt). A non steroidal anti-inflammatory are useful too for the healing phase. See a md if needed.
