Amount ?: Wound healing is a complicated process that requires many factors including building blocks (proteins) and fuel (fats and carbohydrates) as well as cofactors (vitamins and minerals). These are interrelated and work together. Poor nutrition means poor healing and poor immune responses. A little alcohol will have little effect. If you consume it at the expense of good nutrition, then healing slows.
