Interferes: Although the combination of alcohol and interferon does not make you sick directly, nih studies have shown that alcohol causes hepatits c virus to replicate more quickly, and seems to block the effects of interferon on the virus. If you are taking interferon for hep c....Absolutely no alcohol!
