Little: First, avoid eating on it. Secondly , make an appt. With a dentist asap. Monitor what causes pain, like hot or cold, so you can give your dentist accurate info at your appt. Tha advil or tylenol (acetaminophen) for discomfort if needed.

Best to see dentist: It is always your choice about treatment and not having treatment is a choice. It without treatment for your broken tooth it will only get worse. Decay will progress and you are at risk for pain and infection. Dental treatment is your best option.

Not a whole lot...: Potential problems may occur if left untreated. Only a dentist can know for sure the extent of damage. There is little you can do without seeing a dentist. The condition of the tooth would most likely worsen.

Not much: There is nothing that can be done that is effective and has a long term result without seeing a dentist. The broken tooth may become infected and you may want to see a dentist before this occurs.
