Difficulty Breathing: Late stage COPD can have many manifestations: severe shortness of breath, low oxygen requiring supplemental oxygen, possibly rise in carbon dioxide levels. Sometimes, people with late stage COPD are short of breath even at rest. It can be difficult...And the most important thing is comfort care as much as possible.

Shortness of breath: You'll get so limited by shortness of breath that you won't be able to really even walk across your house. You'll be limited to a chair or bed because of shortness of breath. You'll have to walk around with an oxygen tank in tow. So stop smoking!! Don't become a pulmonary cripple.
