Acute: Covid 19 can cause an acute inflammatory response in lungs that affects lung function and oxygenation and that may resolve quickly or take weeks or months to resolv. The jury is still out on long term affects that could mimic COPD or gradually turn into it. Work with pulmonary expert if you are concerned as they can help optimize respiratory issues.
