A member asked:

Is self removal of a sebaceous cyst on penis possible?

Please don't try it: Even in our terribly dysfunctional health care system, you're inviting an infection and, even worse, a ruptured cyst which will give you a nasty, very-hard-to-treat foreign body reaction at the site that will be a nuisance for the rest of your life.

No: Just like any real surgery, you should see a professional to minimize complications. As the saying goes, "don't try this at home, folks!".

Not advisable: Do you really want to risk damaging your penis? Certain things you should never try... Among them is cutting on your own penis! in addition, sebaceous cysts of the penis are fairly rare, so you're better off having a urologist check it out for you.
