Any type: Tylenol (acetaminophen) and cold medications with tylenol (acetaminophen) are all safe to take during pregnancy. Extra strengthtylenol (acetaminophen) is also ok; just take as directed on the label. Benadryl and other over the counter cold medicines, such as robitussin, dayquil, nyquil, etc and sudafed are safe as well. Sudafed should be avoided in patients with high blood pressure.
