Internal Distraction: When we are internally scared, angry, frustrated, etc. While denying/avoiding obvious issues & work to push upsetting issues & specifics away (consciously avoiding them), they do not go away. Instead we keep seeing & running into reminders; cannot focus. So much mental energy ends up consumed within, avoiding what is within & keeps growing (at least seemingly larger) we become unable to think.
