What exactly is the effect of a shortage of palliative care on communities?

Wrong idea: A lot of medicine practiced today is only palliative and not curative medicine. Palliative is giving pain medication for all conditions and not finding the cause and removing it or eliminating it and helping patient heal. In the usa doctor treat symptoms, ( palliative) and not underlying problems that cause the symptoms (curative) . If you wish to discuss this further ask for a personal contact.
