Mole : One important thing is that if the excision is deep and goes through all the layers of the skin into the fat layer you need to be concerned with painful scar formation. I would recommend that you stay non weight bearing after the surgery for 3 weeks. The other dangerous risk would be if an infection developed. You should ask your surgeon about these two risks. Consider 2nd opinion.
