TMJoint issue: It's best to see a dentist with extensive experience and training treating patients with tmd\tmjoint problems. Some dentists have more understanding of this issue and causes as well as treatment. Try to get a local referral from your general dentist or if necessary, although not the best method, search the internet (or a local dental school if one is reasonably closeby).

Sign of TMJ/TMD: This is one sign of a tmj/tmd disorder, but it may not be serious unless associated with other symptoms. See a dentist and/or a TMJ specialist because the problem can get worse.
