Shoulder Syndrome: For lack of a better description this sounds like a syndrome of overuse, whereby your posture seems to be placing undue stress on the muscles of your upper back and neck. Move around during the day, stretch your neck and don't remain motionless. The body, especially the joints, were made to move and if they aren't used they stiffen. Your general fitness level and sleep habits are important.
