Only if.............: The uric acid has formed a stone, which may be without sx or cause exquisite pain. Sometimes, blood in the urine is all that is seen. If your uric acid is elevated, stone formation can occur! apart from dietary modifications which can lower uric acid slightly, if appreciably elevated uric acid reduction requires Allopurinol or uloric!
