Not likely unless: You have inadequate blood circulation on your feet. But if you have diabetes or other condition that might impair healing, you might develop a serious staph infection. Make sure it is clean and keep it elevated if there is any swelling. If you develop any redness, see a doctor right away. Make sure you are up to date on tetanus immunization.

Just be careful: Should not pop a blister, it protects you from getting infection. A small hole is sufficient to drain fluid and allow the skin to reattatch or at least to cover raw tissue. Use antibiotic ointment. If any signs of infection see your doctor.
