Can there be such a thing as obsession / fetish with blood?

Sure: People can "attach" to anything. Even mild, boring (to most) things can become "hot" items to someone. But, blood is an easy to imagine choice since it brings up strong emotions in many, if not most people. Strong feelings are difficult to deal with rationally. In other words, i would not be surprised that some people have a blood fetish or obsession.
