A member asked:

I was wondering if taking a 750mg epilepsy (keppra) pill (or half of it) would be dangerous to do if i don't have it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not.: Let's assume you are taking it for seizures. The standard form of Keppra (levetiracetam) is taken twice a day. Doses vary, but the proper dose is the one that controls seizures without causing side effects. That dose is usually between 500 to 3000 mg per day. In general, these doses are well tolerated.
