Flushing it: Eye injuries are common. First priority is to make sure your vision is not affected. Flushing the eye with water is usually the first step. Sometimes people can develop corneal abrasions and most of these heal well by themselves. If vision is affected or you have severe pain you should see an ophthalmologist immediately if your gp is not available. Also avoid using contacts for awhile.
