A member asked:

My wife thinks i should see someone for my loss of memory. should i?

Yes: Memory loss can be a sign of many things from normal aging to underlying disease states. Many of these are fixable like depression or other hormone inbalances. It nevers hurts to see a doctor if you or your family is concerned about something, even if it is to get a reassurance that nothing is wrong. If the memory problems are caused by something the earlie it is diagnosed the better.
