Stress management: If the overeating is due to stress, it's best to address the stress itself. Of course, the best way to deal with stress is to avoid it if possible. But it's impossible to avoid completely, so stress management is also important. This can include relaxation exercises, mindfulness, yoga, guided imagery, light physical exercise, & regular breaks from the stressful situation. Therapy can help too.
