A member asked:

Should i be having cramps when i am taking birth control pills when i have been on them for 7months now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Cramping with OCP: Cramping while taking oral contraceptive pills (ocp) is a possible side effect. Drinking plain water and keeping soda / pop, coffee, tea, juice, flavored water, and electrolyte drinks to a minimum can help. Worsening cramping on ocp is not typical and should be brought to the attention of a health practitioner.
