What does testing cortisol and dhea tell us!?

Not much: These hormone levels naturally vary throughout the day, and are affected by stress, illness, medications. As is true for most hormones, the clinical setting, history, physical findings, are essential for determining if there is an abnormality or not. A random level is practically useless.
