Depends on the cause: The two most common causes of itchy ears are: chronic otitis externa) and (2) seborrheic dermatitis. For otitis externa, use a 50:50 solution of rubbing alcohol and vinegar. Instill in your ears several times per day. Acetic acid will kill the micro-organisms, and the alcohol will keep the ear canal dry. For seb derm, use 1% Hydrocortisone cream, several times per day.
