Small amount is norm: Many pregnant women have some spotting in their first trimester. But you should already be seeing a provider for prenatal care! pregnancy is not something to go it alone for! are you taking pnvi? If you don't know what that means, get seen asap, for yourself and your baby's sake. And discuss the spotting so that if it gets worse you have someone who knows you already.

If the bleeding is: More than spotting, you should see your doctor. Minor bleeding in pregnancy is not uncommon due to increased vascularity of the reproductive tract.
