Call your physician: If a HPT is negative 7-12 days after missed period likely not pregnant. This would usually eliminate an ectopic(tubal)pregnancy or miscarriage as the cause for your symptoms. There are a number of other causes for abnormal bleeding or missed period including hormonal changes due to stress,exercise or weight loss. If the pain or bleeding increases go to ER to be sure as false (-) HPT is possible.
