A member asked:

I heard that soy is not good for people with hypothyroidism, is this true? thanks in advance

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Should be fine: I am not aware of any evidence that soy products will cause thyroid problems or interfere with treatment. It remains the standard recommendation that thyroid hormone supplementation be taken on an empty stomach.
