A member asked:

Whats the difference between losartan hct amd valsarton?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Hypertension: Both losartan and valsartan are angiotensin 2 receptor blockers. The losartan/hct is a combination pill with both losartan and the diuretic hydrochlorothiazide, valsartan is the drug alone without hct. They are both effective antihypertensives.
